Warsaw Autumn is the only internationally-acclaimed festival in Poland that is fully dedicated to contemporary music.
“The theme of this year’s Autumn is a certain property of music that is not easy to define in one word and therefore a neologism would be best. Dynamistatics. That is, a moving rest, or resting movement. Music is static and dynamic at the same time. And these two properties cannot be separated. A good example of this would be a mountain stream. One can look and listen (…). The sounds and rhythms of the water current, in constant motion – are constantly different and yet the same. They change constantly, unchangingly.”
(from the programme text of the 58th WA – T. Wielecki)
The project includes: posters (main and Little Warsaw Autumn), printed materials (programme books, invitations, guides, tickets), CD packaging and a film spot.
